I’ve only interfaced with Scott briefly, but what I discovered was that he was honestly open to and interested in my comments and ideas. After reviewing the Transportation Master Plan, I had written a very lengthy letter to Council criticizing parts of the Plan and offered some alternative solutions.. Scott was one of the few Council members that acknowledged receiving the letter and the only member that called me to ask questions regarding my concerns and ideas.. This tells me that Scott is willing to listen to a citizen’s concerns, consider ideas and opinions not previously presented and then put forth the time and effort to gather and consider additional facts and information in order to make an informed decision.

Recently, I wrote a letter to the council expressing my concerns about a neighborhood dilemma. Scott personally phoned me to listen to my concerns. He completely understood and supported me. He gave me useful advice and followed up with me on several occasions. He went so far and beyond what I ever imagined a stranger would do. He was there to answer my call after hours and he was there for me months after our first contact. He is incredibly generous with his time and is deeply motivated to help out the community. I am forever grateful for his support and sincerity!

Scott was available, responsive and effective in supporting a citizen initiative to increase courts for pickle ball in Sedona. PB is the fastest growing sport in North America, and widely played in Sedona. Scott’s concern and action are most appreciated.
